Mark Making

1. As this the artist of these pieces, what was your main objective? My main objective was to fill in an image using custom word brushes.

2. What tools did we primarily use for this project? I used the brush tool and the rectangular marquee tool.

3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project? Some challenges I faced were trying to arrange the words so that it didn't look messy and it was also challenging to define the values.

4. One of the requirements of this project was to make a custom paintbrush. How did you accomplish this and what kind of brushes did you make? The brushes I made were based on Taylor Swift's songs such as Blank Space, Bad Blood, Style, and Wildest Dreams.

5. An important requirement for this project was about defining your values. Making sure each value does not blend with the others. There are multiple ways to go about this. How did you accomplish this? I accomplished this by making the words smaller and lighter for the lighter values. I made the words larger and darker for the darker values. I also used different words for every value.
