Glitch
As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?
The main objective was to make an image look glitchy.
What tools did you primarily use for this project?
I used the filter tool and the filter effects.
What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
It was difficult to make it look glitchy without making it too over the top.
The goal of this assignment was to create the effect of a Retro VCR style “Glitch”. Multiple styles were demonstrated in class. What technique did you use and why?
I first made the layers into smart objects and then changed the colors to yellow, magenta, and cyan. Then I used the wave filter to create the glitch effect. I used this technique because I thought it was the easiest.
